"Perfectly legible" all depends on how close you hold the output to your face! I have made a change such that hold and linear labels are included at smaller zoom scales when printing, we'll see if that helps.

I've tried kemble, gloucester and compton abbas.  It sort of works if the page is A4 with one up.  You have an issue where labels are obscured.   E.g. At Kemble B2 is not visible beind the D2 hold label. 

I really think you can afford to scale your text, labels down a bit so they all print and on A5. The AIP plates and perfectly legible at A5 and Pooleys diagrams are even smaller so it can work visually.

We do include taxiway/hold labels if the scale is large enough; which airfields have you tried? You state that the map isn't particularly useful if these labels aren't shown but I wouldn't agree with that.

Including content from third-party plates within our own printed output isn't necessarily very practical, as the user would typically want to select which plates to include and the page/paper sizes may not be aligned with the chosen output size. Quite apart from that, I think that technically this would only work on iOS.

I do like the idea of a circuit and noise abatement map and we will consider that for inclusion in a future version.

I think the airfield plate on the briefing back should show the taxi/hold labels, etc or have the option to use the AIP/Pooleys/AFE, etc plate rather than just the SD version if you can't show the labels.  In its current form that page isn't particularly useful. 

What would be a good addition a circuit page zoomed to the noise abatement circuit if one exists.

Yes, all works well, my backup program was causing the problem with access to the debug file.

Thanks Pete. You're correct. I will remove that debug file now because it hasn't actually helped at all, and hopefully you should then see things working just fine. New beta will be uploaded presently.


Shifu I'm not sure the manner in which that error is being presented but it sounds like a more fundamental error in your setup than anything SkyDemon is doing. Are you running in some sort of virtual machine on a Mac?

Apologies!  EDIT ah...just wondering, could it be my backup program? presumably this file would not be produced outside of beta?
